Meteor Shower at the Ice Caves

Rad chicks unite!! I am so thankfully to meet some totally awesome people with a passion for the outdoors and adventuring, thanks to PNW hiker babes i see many more fun times to come!

the very next day following our climb up mount pilchuck JJ informed me that there was an expected meteor shower. i  suggested we head out the ice caves for a spectacular view point. a big group pulled together and it was truly a night to remember.

we hiked out a midnight. a cold and perfectly clear winter night. not a light or miles. we drank and explored the ice caves the majority of the group had never been before. first time for me seeing them at night and the way they sparkle was so beautiful.

we laid watched as the meteor shower took place for hours shooting starts in every direction! Took a quick mtn babes photo barring it all to the solitude of the caves, then packed up and headed home around 4am.

a night i will never forget.
